The External Enquiry Operations team sits at the heart of Revolut's financial crime prevention efforts. As a FinCrime Analyst (External Enquiries), you will detect, investigate, and mitigate risks that could impact customers and the platform. Working closely with the Compliance and Legal teams, you'll be responsible for safeguarding customer funds and maintaining trust through robust financial crime controls. Key responsibilities include: - Liaising directly with law enforcement and government agencies - Responding to court orders, Data Protection Act requests, and Production Orders, ensuring compliance with legislation such as POCA and DPA - Meeting applicable time scales for all requests - Coordinating with the Legal team as needed - Preparing documentation for third-party requests - Conducting fraud-related investigations based on received reports - Generating reports and creating alerts for suspicious activity - Communicating financial crime concerns across all organizational levels The role includes night and weekend shifts (fully compensated) to support 24/7 customer coverage. Requirements: - Bachelor's degree (certificate required) - Fluency in Hungarian (C1+) and English (C1+) - 2+ years of FinCrime experience, OR 1+ years dealing with external law enforcement and government agencies - Familiarity with investigative methodologies and analytical tools (spreadsheets, filters, pivots, network charts) - Knowledge of court orders, DPA, PO, and witness statement preparation - Ability to communicate confidently with people at all organizational levels, internally and externally - Critical thinking and impeccable attention to detail - Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work under pressure Nice to have: - Degree in law or STEM - Professional certification (ICA or ACAMS) - Fluency in additional languages
