Revolut is a global financial super app serving 80+ million customers with products spanning spending, saving, investing, exchanging, and travel. The Financial Crime Operations team is central to keeping customers and their money safe through detection, investigation, and prevention of financial crime.
As an External Enquiry Analyst, you will be a key member of the compliance and financial crime prevention effort. You'll work directly with law enforcement, legal teams, and internal stakeholders to investigate financial crime risks, respond to regulatory requests, and safeguard customer funds.
Key responsibilities include:
- Liaising with law enforcement and the Legal team on investigations and regulatory matters
- Responding to court orders, Data Protection Agreements (DPAs), and Production Orders (POs) in compliance with legislation such as POCA and DPA
- Meeting applicable time scales for request completion
- Preparing documentation for third-party requests
- Conducting fraud-related investigations based on received reports
- Generating reports and creating alerts for suspicious activity
- Discussing financial crime concerns with stakeholders across departments
You'll use cutting-edge technology and sharp analytical skills to detect risks and prevent financial crime while maintaining trust at the core of Revolut's operations.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree (certificate required)
- Fluency in German (C2 level)
- Fluency in English (C1+ level)
- 2+ years of FinCrime experience, OR 1+ years of experience dealing with external law enforcement and government agencies
- Familiarity with investigative methodologies and analytical tools (spreadsheets, filters, pivots, network charts)
- Knowledge of court orders, DPA, PO, and witness statement preparation
- Confidence communicating with people at all levels, internally and externally
- Critical thinking skills
- Impeccable attention to detail
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work under pressure
NICE TO HAVE:
- Fluency in additional languages
- Degree in law or STEM subject
- Professional certification (ICA or ACAMS)
