The Financial Crime Operations team sits at the forefront of Revolut's efforts to protect customers and their funds. As an External Enquiry Analyst, you will detect and investigate financial crime risks that could impact customers, working closely with the Compliance team to safeguard funds and maintain trust. Key responsibilities include: - Liaising with law enforcement and the Legal team as necessary - Responding to court orders, Data Protection Agreements (DPAs), and Production Orders (POs) while ensuring compliance with legislation such as POCA and DPA - Meeting applicable time scales for request completion - Preparing documentation for third-party requests - Conducting fraud-related investigations based on received reports - Generating reports and creating alerts for suspicious activity - Discussing financial crime concerns with stakeholders across departments You will work directly with customers to resolve issues and flag potential concerns, using cutting-edge technology and sharp attention to detail to prevent financial crime. REQUIREMENTS: - Bachelor's degree (certificate required) - Fluency in German (C2 level) - Fluency in English (C1+ level) - 2+ years of FinCrime experience, OR 1+ years of experience dealing with external law enforcement and other government agencies - Familiarity with investigative methodologies evidenced by use of analytical tools (e.g., spreadsheets, filters, pivots, network charts) - Knowledge of court orders, DPA, PO, and preparing witness statements - Confidence communicating with people at all levels, both externally and within the organization - Critical thinking skills - Impeccable attention to detail - Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work well under pressure NICE TO HAVE: - Fluency in additional languages - Degree in law or STEM subject - Professional certification (ICA or ACAMS)
