Revolut is a global financial super app serving 80+ million customers with products spanning spending, saving, investing, exchanging, and travel. The Financial Crime Operations team is central to Revolut's mission to keep customers and their money safe.
As an External Enquiry Analyst, you will detect and investigate financial crime risks that could impact customers. You'll work directly with the Compliance team and external stakeholders to safeguard funds and ensure robust protection against financial crime.
Key responsibilities include:
- Liaising with law enforcement and the Legal team as necessary
- Responding to court orders, Data Protection Assessments (DPAs), and Production Orders (POs), and ensuring compliance with legislation such as POCA and DPA
- Ensuring requests are completed within applicable time scales
- Preparing documentation for third-party requests
- Conducting fraud-related investigations based on reports received
- Generating reports and creating alerts for suspicious activity
- Discussing financial crime concerns with stakeholders across departments
You'll use cutting-edge technology and sharp attention to detail to help prevent financial crime and maintain trust at the core of Revolut.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree (must be able to provide certificate)
- Fluency in German (C2 level)
- Fluency in English (C1+ level)
- 2+ years of FinCrime experience, OR 1+ years experience dealing with external law enforcement and other government agencies
- Familiarity with investigative methodologies evidenced by use of analytical tools (e.g., spreadsheets, filters, pivots, network charts)
- Knowledge of court orders, DPA, PO, and preparing witness statements
- Confidence communicating with people at all levels, both externally and within the organisation
- Critical thinking skills
- Impeccable attention to detail
- Ability to multitask, prioritise, and work well under pressure
NICE TO HAVE:
- Fluency in other languages
- Degree in law or STEM subject
- Professional certification (ICA or ACAMS)
