Salary: USD 75,000 - 87,000 / annual

Ibotta, a leading performance marketing platform (NYSE: IBTA) headquartered in Denver, is seeking a Financial Reporting Accountant to support its financial close and SEC reporting processes. This hybrid role (3 days/week in-office: Tue–Thu) offers an opportunity to contribute to a high-growth, publicly traded company. Key Responsibilities: - Execute monthly accounting close procedures including journal entries, reconciliations, and analysis for corporate areas (debt, equity, revenue, etc.) - Assist in preparation of SEC filings (Forms 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K), disclosure checklists, and financial statement tie-outs - Prepare internal financial reporting for management - Coordinate with external auditors during audits and interim reviews - Analyze financial data and collaborate cross-functionally to ensure accuracy and completeness - Identify and support ad hoc process improvements and implementation projects - Create process documentation, accounting policies, and build schedules for journal entries and analysis - Continuously improve and automate accounting and reporting processes, leveraging AI tools - Ensure SOX compliance and proper financial controls Required Qualifications: - 2+ years of public accounting and/or financial reporting experience - Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or related field - Intermediate Excel skills - Strong analytical and detail-oriented mindset - Solid organizational, written, and verbal communication skills - Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment Preferred Qualifications: - CPA certification - Experience with NetSuite, Workiva, and FloQast - GAAP research skills and internal controls/SOX compliance experience Compensation & Benefits: - Base salary: $75,000–$87,000 (plus variable component) - Medical, dental, vision coverage - Lifestyle Spending Account - Employee Stock Purchase Plan - 401(k) match - Flexible time off - Denver office perks: paid parking, snacks, occasional meals
