The Financial Crime Compliance Manager (Quality Control) role sits within Revolut's Compliance team, which combines regulatory expertise with data-driven thinking to ensure products meet legal requirements while managing conduct risk effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review the quality and documentation of decisions and deliverables created by Financial Crime Subject Matter Experts and Compliance Managers across the first and second lines of defense
- Provide actionable feedback to relevant teams on control enhancements and procedural clarity
- Identify trends and patterns in case handling to pinpoint areas for improvement in agent performance
- Contribute to compliance processes and minimum standards by identifying opportunities for improved adherence to quality standards, procedures, and company standards
This is a quality assurance and risk management role focused on strengthening internal controls and ensuring consistent, high-quality compliance decision-making across the organization.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience working in financial crime across the three lines of defense, including CDD (Customer Due Diligence), AML (Anti-Money Laundering), sanction screening, transaction monitoring, or related areas
- Experience working in fintech, traditional financial institutions, or regulatory bodies
- Ability to clearly communicate and detail risks and issues when reviewing completed work
- Knowledge of best-practice FinCrime controls used in the industry
- Results-driven, pragmatic, and detail-oriented approach
- Interest in compliance and willingness to deepen knowledge
- Fluency in English
