Revolut is a fintech super app serving 80+ million customers globally with products spanning spending, saving, investing, exchanging, and travel. The company is seeking a Financial Crime Compliance Manager to join the second line of defence within the Financial Crime team.
You will lead the design, implementation, testing, and assurance of financial crime controls across Revolut's financial partnerships. Your responsibilities include performing product and enterprise risk assessments related to financial partnerships, maintaining and updating group FinCrime policies, and providing oversight and support for the identification, remediation, and resolution of FinCrime risk incidents. You will serve as a 2LoD resource to the business and 1LoD FinCrime teams during product and system launches, ensuring FinCrime risks are integrated into day-to-day operations.
Additional duties include maintaining financial crime training for all employees, participating in FinCrime governance committees to challenge initiative owners, establishing and maintaining dashboards to identify areas requiring investigation, preparing reports for senior management and the Board, and escalating high-risk financial crime compliance issues.
This role requires deep expertise in anti-financial crime frameworks, including AML/CTF and sanctions policies, regulatory recommendations, risk management practices, and control arrangements. You will work with stakeholders across the organization to identify financial crime risks, advise on best practices, and ensure compliance with global requirements.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 5+ years of experience in financial crime (AML/CTF and sanctions) across retail and business customer bases, including KYC, CDD/EDD, transaction monitoring, risk assessments, and SARs
- Experience in correspondent banking
- Solid understanding of innovative financial services products and their associated financial crime risks
- In-depth knowledge of anti-financial crime frameworks, including AML/CTF and sanctions policies, regulatory recommendations, risk management practices, and control arrangements
- Familiarity with global requirements for financial crime controls
- Understanding of industry-wide financial crime practices and trends
- Expertise in identifying financial crime risks and potential vulnerabilities, and advising on best practices
- Track record of stakeholder management with ability to collaborate, negotiate, and communicate effectively
- Fluency in English
NICE TO HAVE:
- Professional qualification from an internationally recognised body (e.g., ICA, ACAMS)
- In-depth knowledge of key regulatory issues related to anti-fraud and control assessment processes
- Interest in developing expertise in financial partnerships and payments regulations
