You will join the Financial Crime team as a Compliance Manager, supporting the second line of defence. This role focuses on designing and leading oversight and compliance operations to support Revolut's financial partnerships while ensuring robust financial crime controls.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, implementation, testing, and assurance of financial crime controls
- Perform product and enterprise risk assessments related to financial partnerships
- Maintain and update group FinCrime policies
- Provide oversight and support for identification, remediation, and resolution of FinCrime risk incidents
- Deliver second line of defence support to business and first line FinCrime teams during product and system launches
- Ensure FinCrime risks are integrated into day-to-day operations
- Maintain financial crime training programs for all employees
- Participate in FinCrime governance committees to challenge initiative owners
- Establish and maintain dashboards to identify areas requiring investigation
- Prepare reports for senior management, group committees, and the Board
- Escalate high-risk financial crime compliance issues
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in financial crime (AML/CTF and sanctions) across retail and business customer bases, including KYC, CDD/EDD, transaction monitoring, risk assessments, and SARs
- Experience in correspondent banking
- Solid understanding of innovative financial services products and their associated financial crime risks
- In-depth knowledge of anti-financial crime frameworks, including AML/CTF and sanctions policies, regulatory recommendations, risk management practices, and control arrangements
- Familiarity with global requirements for financial crime controls
- Understanding of industry-wide financial crime practices and trends
- Expertise in identifying financial crime risks and potential vulnerabilities, and advising on best practices
- Track record of stakeholder management with strong collaboration, negotiation, and communication skills
- Fluency in English
Nice to Have:
- Professional qualification from an internationally recognised body (e.g., ICA, ACAMS)
- In-depth knowledge of key regulatory issues related to anti-fraud and control assessment processes
- Interest in developing expertise in financial partnerships and payments regulations
