Re:Build Manufacturing is revitalizing America's manufacturing base by operating an advanced, end-to-end manufacturing platform for aerospace and defense, electrification, medical, energy, and robotics sectors. The company partners with industrial innovators to scale production in the US, including historically deindustrialized regions.
You will lead finance operations for one of Re:Build's manufacturing facilities, reporting to the General Manager. This is a hands-on role that bridges financial rigor with operational reality. You'll own the monthly close process, deliver timely and accurate financial reporting to leadership, and translate financial performance into actionable business insights. You'll develop annual budgets and quarterly forecasts aligned with strategic goals, build and track operational benchmarks that drive continuous improvement, and collaborate with operations, engineering, supply chain, and quality teams on new product launches and business development opportunities.
A key part of this role is mentoring and developing your Staff Accountant, providing coaching and professional growth opportunities. You'll also serve as the financial liaison between the facility and Re:Build corporate finance, ensuring seamless reporting and policy alignment. The company emphasizes a "go to the gemba" mindset—you'll regularly walk the production floor to understand manufacturing processes firsthand, observe how continuous fiber-reinforced thermoplastic components are made, and build relationships with operators, engineers, and supervisors. This operational visibility directly informs better financial decision-making.
You'll also support business development with cost modeling, pricing analysis, and financial feasibility assessments, continuously improve accounting processes and internal controls through automation and standardization, and champion a culture of transparency and financial literacy across the organization.
