Anduril Industries, a defense technology company, is seeking a Finance Master Data Management Specialist to own the master data architecture that powers the finance half of their corporate digital twin (CorpOS). This role sits at the intersection of Finance and Engineering, responsible for ensuring data trustworthiness at scale across the organization. You will own the architecture and governance of master data for finance, including chart of accounts and GL segments, legal entities, cost centers, suppliers, customers, and item/part and work-order masters that feed inventory valuation and cost accounting. Key responsibilities include: - Define and enforce the policy layer: ownership domains, record creation/change permissions, validation requirements, and audit trails - Build applications and automation that make compliance easy—request/approval workflows, duplicate detection, validation at entry, and golden-record reconciliation across ERP and warehouse systems - Establish data stewardship practices with stakeholders across Finance, Accounting, Supply Chain, and Operations, driving measurable improvements in data quality, accuracy, and completeness - Partner with Controllership and FP&A to accelerate month-end close and improve defensibility of financial numbers by solving master data problems behind manual reconciliation and spreadsheet mapping - Work with ERP and analytics platform teams to ensure clean master data flow from transactional systems into the warehouse and reporting layers - Proactively identify problems solvable through master data improvement and drive organizational adoption - Become a trusted resource for Anduril leadership on data management effectiveness You will be part of Anduril's Corporate Technology team, which builds the digital infrastructure driving better and faster decision-making across the organization. The company is on a mission to transform U.S. and allied military capabilities with advanced technology, powered by Lattice OS—an AI-powered operating system that turns thousands of data streams into a realtime 3D command and control center. REQUIREMENTS: - 2+ years in a master data management focused role (business systems, program management, finance systems, compliance, or data governance) with proven experience in data architecture and master data focus - Exposure to finance and accounting fundamentals: general ledger and chart of accounts structure, cost centers and allocations, and understanding of how master data errors break the monthly close. You do not need to be an accountant but must be credible with them - Hands-on technical experience—backgrounds as a Technical Analyst, Consultant with strong engineering background, or Data/Analytics Engineer are a plus - Motivated by the mission to solve the biggest problems in defense - Self-starter energized by business impact; prefer building prototypes of tools that make policy adherence easier over writing policy alone - Familiarity with data security and compliance requirements (GDPR, CCPA) - Experience with SQL and/or Python or other programming languages a plus - U.S. Persons status required (position requires access to export-controlled data) PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: - Hands-on experience with enterprise ERP systems (Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials/SCM/Cost Management, NetSuite, or SAP) and their master data objects - Experience with dedicated MDM or data governance platforms, or having built one from scratch - Familiarity with modern data platforms and analytics tooling (data warehouses, Foundry, dbt, Looker/Tableau) and their integration with finance systems - Exposure to manufacturing data: item and BOM masters, work-order costing, standard vs. actual cost, inventory valuation, and how master data errors cascade to cost errors - Experience establishing data standards for companies scaling through new entities, sites, or geographies - Ability to obtain and hold a U.S. Top Secret security clearance
