Believe is a global artist development company operating in 50+ countries with 2,000+ employees. This role sits within the Finance IS team, reporting to the Sage X3 Build Lead, and focuses on the evolution and continuous improvement of the company's Sage X3 Finance solution.
You will work as a Techno-Functional Sage X3 expert, bridging Finance stakeholders (Accounting, Treasury, Controlling, Tax, Consolidation) and the Finance IS team (Functional Architects, Developers, RUN team). The role splits between BUILD activities (projects and change requests) and advanced RUN support (Level 3 expertise for complex incidents).
**BUILD Responsibilities:**
Perform functional and technical analysis of business requirements and assess Sage X3 impact. Qualify Change Requests, including solution design, complexity, and effort assessment. Challenge requirements when necessary and propose sustainable solutions aligned with the Finance Core Model and Sage X3 best practices. Configure Sage X3 Finance modules according to approved specifications. Analyze and configure Sage X3 interfaces (Import/Export templates, queries, APIs, integrations). Collaborate with developers on technical design and specifications. Prepare and execute functional and non-regression tests. Support users during UAT, including issue analysis and resolution. Prepare and deliver user training on new functionalities. Maintain functional, configuration, and technical documentation. Provide hypercare support post-go-live. Ensure proper handover to the RUN team once solutions stabilize.
**RUN Support Responsibilities:**
Provide advanced support to the RUN team on complex Sage X3 incidents escalated from day-to-day operations. Support developers on technical corrections. Conduct root cause analysis for major or recurring incidents. Identify recurring issues that warrant permanent improvements or Change Requests. Provide guidance and recommendations to increase RUN team autonomy. Contribute to knowledge transfer and documentation. (Note: role does not handle standard day-to-day RUN activities or regular user support.)
**Requirements:**
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT and/or Finance
- 5+ years of experience working with Sage X3, ideally with strong focus on Finance module
- Significant experience in Sage X3 implementation, configuration, Change Requests, and technical-functional analysis
- Strong knowledge of Sage X3 Finance and Finance processes/accounting principles
- Strong experience with Sage X3 configuration and understanding of Core Model principles and configuration governance
- Strong techno-functional understanding of Sage X3, including: Import/Export templates, Query tools/SQL, APIs/Web Services, interface and integration troubleshooting
- Experience in international and multi-entity environments
- Experience analyzing and resolving complex Sage X3 functional and technical issues
- Experience working with developers and translating business requirements into functional and technical solutions
- Appreciated: Crystal Reports, n8n, Power BI, integration and monitoring tools
- Soft skills: autonomous, rigorous, reliable, strong analytical and synthesis skills, proactive, excellent adaptability
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
