Celonis is the global leader in Process Intelligence and Process Mining technology. As a Senior Value Engineer, you will drive AI and data-driven business transformation for Fortune 500 customers in the High Tech and Diversified sectors. You'll own the complete value journey—from discovery through ROI realization—using the Celonis Context Model and working alongside Lead and Principal Value Engineers.
Your core responsibilities include: (1) Value Selling & Realization—uncovering organizational challenges, owning outcomes across process areas, and crafting executive narratives that demonstrate business value; (2) Stakeholder Management—building executive sponsorship across business units, co-owning change management, and designing Center of Excellence roadmaps; (3) Program Management—steering global transformations across complex workstreams, implementing AI-driven account planning, and automating governance activities like QBRs and steering committees; (4) Platform & AI Fluency—operating as an AI-fluent professional using AI copilots for rapid outputs while partnering with Applied Value Engineers for deep technical builds; (5) Scale Value & Innovation—building strategic expansion roadmaps to embed Celonis as a core platform and providing R&D feedback on emerging customer use cases.
You'll need 5+ years of experience in Value Engineering, Consulting, or Pre-Sales, with proven expertise managing complex workstreams and customer relationships. A solid background in enterprise IT and business software (SAP, Workday, Salesforce, Oracle) is essential. You should be comfortable with AI tools and copilots, avoiding heavy manual coding. Deep understanding of Finance and Supply Chain domains, plus High Tech industry trends, is required. You'll demonstrate strategic program and stakeholder management expertise, with the ability to mobilize VP/Director-level sponsorship and communicate with commanding executive presence. A degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Business Analytics, or a comparable technical field is required (or a Business/Economics degree with a technical minor).
