As Field Marketing Manager, you will own the end-to-end execution of trade shows and regional events, reporting to the Head of Field Marketing. This is a high-ownership role where you drive strategy and execution across the entire event lifecycle.
Key responsibilities include:
- Plan, negotiate, and execute trade shows and regional programs from conception through post-event analysis
- Manage on-site logistics and execution to ensure high-touch, on-brand delivery for customers, prospects, and partners
- Partner with Sales and Demand Generation to align target account lists and convert event engagement into qualified pipeline
- Evaluate and prioritize third-party sponsorship opportunities based on audience fit, brand visibility, and pipeline potential
- Collaborate with Product Marketing on messaging and enablement
- Manage individual program and sponsorship budgets
- Track and report on program performance including pipeline influenced, cost-per-lead, attendee quality, and sponsorship ROI
- Cultivate relationships with sponsoring partners and event organizers; surface new opportunities and competitive intelligence
- Keep stakeholders aligned on program status, risks, and results
You will travel up to 40% during peak event season and work in a fast-paced, high-standards environment where execution precision and cross-functional collaboration are critical.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 4–6 years of B2B field marketing or event marketing experience, ideally at an enterprise technology or SaaS company
- Proven track record owning trade shows and third-party sponsorships end-to-end, including contract negotiation and renewal management
- Obsessive attention to detail; nothing ships incomplete and mistakes don't repeat
- Comfortable executing against a calendar and budget set by manager, using good judgment to solve problems and flag trade-offs early
- Highly organized and deadline-driven; able to juggle multiple concurrent programs without quality degradation
- Strong cross-functional collaborator who aligns stakeholders and keeps programs moving
- Data-driven approach to tracking pipeline and sponsorship impact; comfortable reporting to leadership
- Willingness to travel up to 40% during peak event season
NICE TO HAVE:
- Experience in a hybrid or fast-growing startup marketing team with high standards and lean support
- Familiarity with developer tools, infrastructure, or AI/agent tooling space
- Direct experience negotiating sponsorship contracts with major industry conferences
