Decagon is a conversational AI platform enabling enterprises to deploy AI agents that power personalized customer interactions across voice, chat, email, SMS, and other channels. Backed by a16z, Accel, Bain Capital Ventures, Coatue, and Index Ventures, the company works with industry leaders like Avis Budget Group, Block's Cash App and Square, Chime, Oura Health, and Hunter Douglas.
You will build out and execute Decagon's field marketing function, driving awareness and pipeline generation through conferences, events, and executive dinners. Working closely with GTM leadership, you'll develop and own the field marketing strategy and execution.
Key responsibilities:
- Partner with GTM leadership to execute a portfolio of events that accelerate demand generation pipelines
- Execute event strategy to reach the right audience, generate leads, and ensure timely outreach
- Extend the Decagon brand across multiple event formats: conferences, executive dinners, webinars, product launches, and more
- Define and measure field marketing success through KPIs including ROI, lead generation, pipeline influence, and sales engagement
- Own the outcomes of generated leads and drive high ROI from events
- Travel domestically and internationally up to 40%
Requirements:
- 3–5 years of experience planning, executing, and hosting sponsored events
- 1–2+ years of field marketing experience at a B2B SaaS or enterprise software startup
- Excellent attention to detail and operational rigor
- Ability to span events across tradeshows, webinars/virtual events, and customer dinners
- Experience driving both awareness-building and demand-generation initiatives
- Proven ability to evolve projects and experiments into repeatable, scalable programs
- Outstanding project management skills; ability to organize and manage multiple priorities, working relationships, cross-functional partners, and vendors while driving timelines and owning outcomes
- Familiarity with sales processes and systems
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 40%
