Anthropic is seeking a Field Executive Architect to serve as the company's senior technical voice with its most strategic enterprise customers. In this role, you will engage directly with C-suite executives and senior technical leaders at the world's largest enterprises to understand their business needs, align stakeholders around a clear vision for AI adoption, and drive momentum toward adoption of Anthropic's Claude products.
This is not a hands-on engineering role. You will lead high-stakes customer engagements including executive briefings, executive business reviews (EBCs), and on-site workshops at critical inflection points for key accounts. You will partner closely with Sales and Applied AI teams before and after engagements to plan approach, debrief outcomes, and ensure strategic vision translates into execution. You will maintain executive relationships with high-momentum accounts, provide strategic guidance to Sales and Applied AI teams, and sustain deal momentum.
Internally, you will serve as a sponsor for enterprise customer needs, translating field feedback into clear priorities for the Product organization and ensuring that the most important enterprise requirements are heard and acted upon. You will bridge the gap between the field organization and Product organization, helping each side understand the other's priorities, constraints, and roadmap. Regular travel to customer sites for executive engagements, workshops, and strategic account meetings is required.
Anthropics's mission is to create reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems that are safe and beneficial for users and society. The company is a rapidly growing team of researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems.

- Deep understanding of how large organizations evaluate, buy, and scale technology; experience from a leadership seat or sales side of the table
- Technical depth to understand modern AI systems and their enterprise applications, combined with business acumen to connect technical capabilities to business outcomes
- Experience translating between technical and business audiences; ability to make complex topics clear and compelling for both
- Strong opinions about what makes enterprise technology adoption succeed or fail, informed by having led or closely advised these efforts
- Ability to navigate ambiguity and move fast in a rapidly evolving market; comfort operating without a detailed playbook
- Collaborative mindset; understanding that sales is a team sport
- Genuine excitement about AI's potential to transform how enterprises operate and desire to help customers succeed
- Willingness to travel regularly for customer engagements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience
