Deepgram is the leading platform for the Voice AI economy, providing real-time APIs for speech-to-text, text-to-speech, and voice agents at scale. The company serves over 200,000 developers and 1,300+ organizations, including Twilio, Cloudflare, and others, and has processed over 50,000 years of audio. You will be Deepgram's first Field & Event Marketing Manager for the EMEA region, based in London. EMEA is a growing market for Deepgram, and the company is transitioning from opportunistic sponsorships to a planned, pipeline-driven events and field program. You will report to the Senior Director, Events & Field Marketing and work closely with EMEA sales and partner leads while collaborating with the global Marketing team. Key responsibilities include: - Develop and publish a committed 6-9 month EMEA events plan and tiering model within your first 30 days, aligned with sales and partner leads - Launch and maintain a recurring London technical community program with steady developer, builder, and customer attendance - Establish repeatable joint programs with cloud, technology, and channel partners, with shared goals and pipeline tracking from day one - Build an event-to-sales system including target account lists, pre-event meeting booking, and fast follow-up to meet pipeline objectives - Create an event-in-a-box kit (signage, swag, talk tracks, lead capture) enabling local sales and partner teams to run key events independently - Replace ad hoc requests with a streamlined intake-and-approval process, reserving budget and capacity for late-breaking partner opportunities You will work self-directed as the first marketer in the region, across time zones with a US-based team, and travel across EMEA regularly (approximately 40-50%). The role requires an AI-first mindset; Deepgram expects all team members to actively use and experiment with advanced AI tools in their daily work. REQUIREMENTS: - Demonstrated ability to build communities that technical audiences show up for: hands-on content, credible speakers, real builders, no sales pitches - Experience designing partner marketing motions with cloud, technology, or channel partners, with shared goals and measurable pipeline impact - Proven ability to connect events to sales: align on target accounts, book pre-event meetings, drive follow-up that converts attendance to pipeline - AI-native operator: design Human+AI workflows for event planning, follow-up, and reporting - Ability to build systems that eliminate recurring work (event kits, intake processes) rather than re-solving each event - Skill in ranking opportunities against clear criteria and aligning sales, partner, and marketing stakeholders around one plan - Sound event execution with logistics and vendor management; GDPR-compliant lead capture - Self-directed work across time zones; willingness to travel 40-50% across the region PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: - Approximately 5-8 years in event or field marketing, or equivalent demonstrated experience - Background in B2B SaaS, developer-focused, or AI/infrastructure marketing - Experience running co-marketing programs with technical partners - Professional proficiency in an additional European language (French or German)
