Salary: USD 86,000 - 112,000 / annual
Anduril Industries, a defense technology company, is seeking a Facilities Manager to lead operations at its industrial campus in Quonset, Rhode Island. The Facilities Operations team is responsible for maintaining and optimizing the facility to ensure operational continuity, safety, and efficiency.
In this role, you will manage the entirety of the campus—both interior and exterior—supporting production, manufacturing, engineering, and test support operations. You will provide dynamic leadership for the site Facilities department and develop a world-class team. Key responsibilities include:
• Plan and manage day-to-day facilities operations, ensuring spaces are safe, functional, and well-maintained
• Provide leadership for the Facilities department and team development
• Partner with site leadership in Production, Engineering, R&D, and EHS to support rapid expansion and growth
• Oversee maintenance of fire suppression, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general utility repairs
• Develop scopes of work for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) projects as the campus evolves
• Collaborate with equipment owners on future equipment moves and planning to ensure utilities are in place and workflows are efficient
• Source, negotiate, and manage contracts with maintenance service providers
• Prepare and manage the facilities budget, tracking expenses and ensuring cost-effective operations
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations through regular inspections and prompt issue resolution; collaborate closely with Environmental, Safety & Health
• Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment, ensuring timely replenishment and proper storage
The ideal candidate exhibits high multitasking ability, strong organizational skills, and effective verbal and written communication. You will work independently with ambiguity and drive outcomes with minimal oversight.
REQUIREMENTS:
• 5+ years of related experience supporting aerospace, defense, automotive, or other manufacturing facilities
• Knowledgeable and experienced in management of EHS (Environmental, Safety & Health) in a facility
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Independent worker who can work with ambiguity and drive to outcomes with minimal oversight
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to 100% compliance with all company and regulatory requirements
• Electrical, mechanical, and plumbing knowledge required
