Salary: USD 94,000 - 110,000 / annual

Robinhood's International Government and External Affairs (IGEA) team is seeking an External Affairs Strategist to lead the company's financial education and sustainability programs. This is a hands-on, execution-focused role focused on building and running programs that connect Robinhood's mission of democratizing finance to tangible community impact. You will own day-to-day execution and continuous improvement of Robinhood's financial education initiatives, including Money Drills (a financial education program for athletes and students) and Readiness (for military service members). You'll manage relationships with existing financial education partners, expand the portfolio of partnerships, and advance strategy through cross-functional programming and storytelling. Key responsibilities include: - Own execution and improvement of financial education programs (Money Drills, Readiness, K-12 partnerships) - Manage and maintain relationships with financial education partners - Expand partnership portfolio and Money Drills partner universities - Track, measure, and report on program metrics to demonstrate impact - Manage budget lines, partner onboarding, contract negotiation, vendor invoicing, and planning trackers - Draft briefing documents, program updates, and partner-facing materials - Partner with Government Affairs, Communications, Legal/Compliance to align programming with company priorities - Build sustainable, scalable processes for program operations - Support ESG/sustainability disclosures and reporting You will work cross-functionally with Communications, Government Affairs, Marketing, Product, and Legal teams. The role is crucial to enabling Robinhood's goal to educate 1 million people through classroom-based financial education by 2030, including partnerships with the Council on Economic Education and K-12 organizations. The role is based in Menlo Park, CA; New York, NY; or Washington, DC, with in-person attendance expected at least 3 days per week. REQUIREMENTS: - 4-6 years of experience in community affairs, financial education/literacy programs, nonprofit partnerships, corporate social impact, or related field - Demonstrated experience managing or supporting external partnerships with nonprofits, foundations, or community organizations - Excellent written and verbal communication skills with close attention to detail and timely responses - Strong program and project-management skills; able to run multiple workstreams in coordination with staff, consultants, vendors, and cross-functional partners in a fast-paced environment - Comfort with ambiguity and self-starter mentality; able to build and refine programs and processes from the ground up - Experience internally tracking and externally reporting on program metrics/impact - Low ego, collaborative operating style, and genuine passion for expanding financial access
