INERATEC is a cleantech company developing and building innovative Power-to-X plants for producing e-fuels, e-SAF, e-waxes, and other sustainable products. As an Automation Engineering Expert, you will play a key role in automating these industrial plants, ensuring reliable, safe, and scalable deployment of cutting-edge technology.
Your responsibilities include:
- Planning and implementing process control systems
- Designing control hardware architectures
- Programming PLCs, Siemens PCS 7, and visualization systems
- Creating and maintaining comprehensive documentation and project records
- Monitoring system performance and coordinating external partners
- Developing automated sequences for full-plant operation
- Supporting commissioning and deployment of process plants
- Accompanying system startup and troubleshooting
Required qualifications:
- Degree in electrical engineering or automation technology, or completed apprenticeship as electronics technician; technician or master certification preferred
- Minimum 3 years of experience developing and implementing Siemens PCS 7 control systems in process industries
- Expertise in full automation of process engineering plants
- Strong knowledge of IP-based network technology
- Advanced proficiency in PCS 7 and ideally TIA Portal with WinCC Advanced/Professional, including safety-related programming
- Knowledge of fail-safe control systems is advantageous
- Fluent German and English (written and spoken)
- Willingness to travel approximately 10%
