Chainguard, a venture-backed software supply-chain security company, is seeking an Executive Business Partner to support the CEO and VP of People while helping manage the growing New York City office. You will serve as a trusted thought partner and force multiplier for the CEO, owning their calendar end-to-end, preparing them for meetings with agendas and background materials, drafting correspondence, coordinating cross-functional projects, and managing domestic and international travel. You'll act as a liaison between the CEO and internal teams and external partners, ensuring action items are tracked and deadlines are met. You'll also provide calendar and administrative support to the VP of People, including scheduling, meeting preparation, and travel coordination. Additionally, you'll handle select personal tasks for the CEO—managing personal appointments, coordinating personal travel, and assisting with household or family logistics as needed—so the CEO's time is spent where it matters most. In the near term, you'll serve as the primary point of contact for the NYC office, maintaining the office environment in partnership with the Culture team, planning logistics for in-office meetings and events, and supporting employee engagement initiatives. The role is split approximately: CEO support (50%), VP People support (15%), personal assistance to CEO (15%), and NYC office management (20%). You'll report to the Chief of Staff to the CEO. You should have 3+ years of experience supporting C-level executives as an Executive Assistant, Executive Business Partner, or Chief of Staff. You need exceptional organizational skills, outstanding written and verbal communication, a high degree of discretion when handling confidential information, and the ability to manage competing priorities under tight deadlines. You must be based in or able to work on-site in New York City and willing to travel to Connecticut 1–2 times per week.
