Sierra is building an AI platform to enable companies to create better, more human customer experiences. The company partners with industry leaders including SoftBank, Uber, Rivian, CLEAR, and Sutter Health, and is led by co-founders Bret Taylor (former Salesforce co-CEO, Facebook CTO, Google Maps co-creator, current OpenAI Board Chair) and Clay Bavor (18-year Google veteran who led Google Labs, AR/VR initiatives, and Google Workspace).
As Executive Assistant to the co-founders, you will provide strategic and administrative support to Sierra's executive leadership. Key responsibilities include proactively managing the co-founder's calendar, coordinating appointments, travel, and meetings while liaising with home calendars. You will draft correspondence and manage inbox communications on behalf of the co-founder, collaborate with leaders to ensure meeting effectiveness through preparation materials and action-item follow-up, and liaise with internal and external stakeholders to build and maintain strong relationships.
You will maintain strict confidentiality with sensitive materials and information, and help establish and improve administrative systems and processes as part of Sierra's founding admin team. The role requires 7+ years of executive assistant or similar experience, strong relationship-building abilities, excellent time management with capacity to shift priorities quickly, and the ability to organize and analyze executive workflows using data. You must be comfortable working in the San Francisco office 4 days per week and traveling approximately twice per quarter.
Ideal candidates have experience in fast-growing, in-person startup environments and advanced proficiency with Google Suite and Slack.
