Dyna Robotics is building general-purpose robots powered by a proprietary embodied AI foundation model. The company has already deployed robots with customers across multiple industries performing commercial-grade work in the physical world. The founding team includes engineers from Google DeepMind, Meta, and Cruise, backed by leading investors including CRV and First Round.
As a Software Engineer, you will work on the hardest problems in the software stack that moves models from training to production. This includes data infrastructure, services, pipelines, APIs, deployment systems, and the internal platform that researchers and operators depend on. The scope of work is determined by what's currently blocking progress, not by fixed team boundaries—you should expect to move between problems as priorities shift.
You'll know your first project before accepting the offer. Your work will have immediate real-world impact: code you write reaches robots doing actual jobs in days or weeks, not quarters. The team is deliberately small, senior, and flat. Everyone is hands-on, and ownership goes to those who take it and deliver results.
The company values judgment, speed, and clear communication. You'll work alongside engineers who can explain their thinking briefly to teammates focused on different problems.
Prior robotics experience is welcome but not required. The company has hired strong engineers from distributed systems, compilers, and large-scale backend or training infrastructure backgrounds.
