Snowflake is seeking an experienced Events Program Manager to join the Global Travel & Expense team. This role leads the sourcing and operational execution of small- to medium-sized corporate meetings, events, offsites, executive gatherings, and group travel initiatives. You will partner closely with Finance, Strategic Sourcing, Procurement, Legal, Workplace, Security, and business stakeholders to build and scale Snowflake's global Meetings & Events program.
Key responsibilities include managing end-to-end event operations from venue sourcing and contract negotiations to room blocks, group air travel, and ground transportation. You will develop preferred supplier relationships, lead RFP processes, and negotiate favorable commercial terms to drive cost savings. The role requires coordinating with the Global Travel team to ensure seamless attendee experiences and supporting the implementation of meetings and event technology platforms (Cvent, Groupize, HRS, Navan, etc.).
You will build dashboards, reporting systems, and KPIs to track event spend, supplier performance, savings, attendee satisfaction, policy compliance, and program health. A key focus is identifying opportunities to simplify processes, improve automation, and enhance user experience through technology and AI-enabled workflows. You'll develop playbooks, documentation, and standardized processes to enable scalable event planning across the organization while ensuring compliance with company policies, risk management requirements, and financial controls.
The ideal candidate combines operational excellence with strategic thinking, is passionate about building scalable programs, and demonstrates strong project management, stakeholder management, and analytical skills. Experience with meetings/travel technology platforms and leveraging automation or AI to improve business processes is preferred. Professional certifications such as CMP or CMM are a plus.
