Searchable is an agentic marketing platform built for AI search, helping brands measure and optimize their visibility across AI search engines like ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, and Google AI Overviews. The company is at $5M ARR in 10 months, backed by top angels and VCs, and is building the team to define this emerging category.
As Events & Field Marketing Manager, you will own and build the in-person growth engine that puts Searchable in front of marketing leaders, SEO teams, and agencies navigating AI search. Reporting to the Marketing Lead and CEO, you will work as part of the Marketing and Growth team to decide where the company shows up, craft the narrative, and convert every conversation into a lasting relationship.
Key responsibilities include:
- Own the global events calendar, from flagship industry conferences and sponsorships to niche SEO, content, and marketing events
- Design and execute quarterly flagship events and regular in-person gatherings (executive dinners, roundtables, breakfast briefings, workshops, customer meetups) from venue selection and guest lists through post-event follow-up
- Manage event sponsorships, deciding which events to attend, sponsor, and exhibit at, and how to maximize impact
- Partner with sales on field and account-based marketing plays, building target account lists for each event, pre-booking meetings, and ensuring leads reach the right account executives
- Manage event budgets, vendors, logistics, booth design, swag, and on-site staffing
- Track sourced and influenced pipeline, cost per opportunity, and ROI for every event in the CRM; develop playbooks for repeatable event execution
Success milestones: Within 3 months, you will have mapped the events landscape, agreed a 12-month calendar and budget with the growth team, and run the first Searchable-hosted event. By 6 months, the company will run a regular rhythm of owned events (dinners, roundtables, meetups) that marketing and SEO leaders actively seek to attend, with clear follow-up plans in place for each.
The company is office-based five days a week near London Bridge and values startup culture where people take radical ownership of hard problems.
Requirements:
- Significant experience in events or field marketing at a B2B SaaS company, ideally selling to marketing, SEO, or agency teams
- Proven track record of events that generated pipeline and revenue (not just attendance metrics)
- Experience running both conference sponsorships and small, high-touch executive events across multiple markets
- Strong organizational and commercial judgment; comfort managing budgets, negotiating with vendors, and making strategic decisions about event ROI
