Bird Buddy is seeking an ERP Manager to own NetSuite across the organization. The company manufactures smart bird feeders and operates a connected software ecosystem, running finance, inventory, supply chain, order management, and fulfillment on NetSuite.
You will be the accountable owner of this system, setting the roadmap and priorities, holding vendors and partners accountable, and leading NetSuite stabilization. You'll work alongside a dedicated NetSuite Specialist who handles hands-on configuration and integrations.
Key responsibilities include: gathering cross-functional expectations and ensuring NetSuite meets business needs; maintaining a single prioritized backlog and deciding project sequencing; leading a stabilization program with predictable monthly close as the success metric; managing all vendor and partner relationships, governance, and budget; developing onboarding plans for functions not yet on the system; implementing change control for financial statement impacts; and running daily syncs with the Specialist and weekly cross-functional syncs.
You must have personally owned an ERP stabilization or post-implementation cleanup end-to-end with demonstrable outcomes. You need real authority over vendors and budget, with the ability to make build-versus-buy decisions. Deep expertise in NetSuite finance and close is essential—you should be able to adjudicate revenue recognition, deferred revenue, COGS, inventory costing, bank reconciliation, and multi-entity consolidation questions yourself. You need working command of inventory, supply chain, order-to-cash, and subscription revenue domains. You must manage senior stakeholders effectively and make prioritization decisions stick.
Required: 8+ years of experience with several spent owning or leading a system, program, or team; background in consumer products, e-commerce, or hardware; ability to carry a system through peak season without regression; fluent working English.
Nice-to-have: hands-on NetSuite familiarity (especially OneWorld multi-subsidiary, multi-currency); product management background or Big 4 experience.
