Salary: USD 141,200 - 238,300 / annual
Joby is developing piloted electric vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) aircraft for urban air mobility. The company is in final FAA certification stages and preparing for commercial launch in the US and Dubai, with plans to scale manufacturing globally.
You will lead the Factory Systems team as ERP Lead, owning the design, development, and continuous improvement of the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations (D365 F&O) platform. This is a technical leadership and product ownership role with direct impact on mission-critical business processes across Finance, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and continuously improve the D365 F&O platform architecture for performance, scalability, and maintainability
- Develop, customize, and extend D365 F&O applications using X++ and C# to support complex Finance, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing requirements
- Integrate D365 F&O with enterprise systems (PLM, MES, CRM) using D365 APIs, Data Management Framework, Dataverse, Power Platform, Azure Logic Apps, and Azure services
- Provide senior-level technical support, troubleshooting, and performance optimization for D365 F&O environments
- Analyze complex business workflows to identify automation and efficiency opportunities
- Collaborate with cross-functional international teams (Functional Consultants, Product Management, Software Engineers) on solution delivery and adoption
- Act as senior technical advisor on D365 F&O architecture, implementation methodologies, and best practices
- Provide functional support in Accounts Payable, Inventory Management, Procurement, Product Information Management, Production Control, and Data Management
- Maintain and oversee Microsoft Fabric and Databricks pipelines for reporting and analytics
- Lead strategic initiatives including system upgrades, new D365 F&O feature adoption, and migration strategies
- Build and lead the internal ERP development and operations team
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or comparable technical field
- 8+ years of technical experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations (implementations, customizations, integrations)
- Strong programming skills in X++ and C#; experience with D365 F&O development stack and tools
- Deep understanding of D365 F&O integration patterns (OData, custom services, DMF, event-driven architectures)
- Solid knowledge of D365 F&O architecture and best practices for cloud-based ERP deployments
- Experience managing admin duties in Life Cycle Services (LCS), Azure DevOps (ADO), Power Platform Admin Center (PPAC)
- Proven expertise customizing and extending at least three core D365 F&O modules (General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Inventory Management, Production Control, Project Accounting)
- Excellent problem-solving skills, proactive mindset, ability to work in global teams
- Experience with standard software development practices (Agile, CI/CD pipelines, Git-based workflows, preferably Azure DevOps)
Desired:
- Background in aerospace, automotive, complex manufacturing, or highly regulated industries
- Experience in startups or high-growth environments, particularly with global D365 F&O rollouts
- Proficiency in Power Platform (Power BI, Power Apps) and Azure services
- Proven track record delivering end-to-end ERP solutions from design through post-go-live support
