Watchmaker Genomics seeks an ERP Application Engineer to serve as the primary on-site ERP support resource for the Boulder office. This role reports to the ERP Enterprise Solution Engineer in Cape Town and bridges local users with the global ERP technical team. You will provide hands-on functional ERP support across manufacturing, supply chain, inventory, finance, quality, and customer operations. Day-to-day responsibilities include troubleshooting application and process issues, helping users execute approved business processes, identifying recurring workarounds and training gaps, and escalating platform, integration, infrastructure, or performance issues with clear business context. Beyond support, you will capture new business use cases and requirements from daily operations, new product development (NPD), and customer-specific needs. You will develop realistic business test scenarios, support UAT and CSV activities, document defects, and retest fixes. You'll coordinate Boulder readiness for new modules, fixes, and process changes—including training, job aids, floor support, cutover, and hypercare. You'll drive user adoption and provide refresher training based on help-desk trends. Additional responsibilities include identifying master-data issues and engaging the Master Data Management team with business context (this role does not prepare or execute DMT uploads), helping users leverage standard ERP reports, BAQs, and dashboards, and owning first response and functional triage for Boulder ERP incidents. You will support local control routines, downtime procedures, and controlled back-entry activities during outages, all in accordance with approved SOPs, ISO 13485/CSV controls, traceability, and data-integrity requirements. The role requires strong service orientation, excellent communication, and the ability to work effectively across sites and time zones. You will be honest, trustworthy, culturally aware, flexible, and collaborative. **Requirements:** - Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (required) - 8–12 years of relevant experience - 5+ years of proven experience in ERP application support, functional analysis, business systems, or similar role - Hands-on experience supporting users in a manufacturing ERP environment; Epicor Kinetic experience strongly preferred - Practical understanding of manufacturing, supply chain, inventory, finance, quality, and customer-facing ERP workflows - Experience gathering business use cases, mapping processes, and translating user needs into clear functional requirements and acceptance criteria - Strong application-support, ticket-triage, evidence-gathering, and escalation skills - Experience with UAT, defect documentation, rollout support, user training, and adoption activities - Experience supporting product launches, customer-driven changes, or regulated manufacturing environments (preferred) - BAQ, dashboard, report, label, and data-reconciliation literacy - Strong communication, organization, and cross-site collaboration skills
