Rippling is a unified HR, IT, and Finance platform that enables businesses to manage the entire employee lifecycle in a single system. This role supports Rippling's Employer of Record (EOR) service, which allows companies to legally hire and manage employees in foreign countries without establishing their own legal entities.
As an EOR HR Advisor for the Netherlands, you will be a subject-matter expert supporting Rippling's clients and internal teams. You will guide clients through the complete employee lifecycle—from hiring and onboarding through offboarding—while managing complex employee relations issues, compliance challenges, and regulatory requirements specific to Dutch employment law.
Key responsibilities include:
• Drafting and implementing compliance-driven policies and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for leave management, performance management, investigations, claims, terminations, unemployment benefits, workers' compensation, and grievance handling.
• Managing complex employee relations issues, including leave administration, terminations, and other matters with regulatory risk exposure.
• Collaborating with product, engineering, and compliance teams to configure and test workflows for hiring, onboarding, transitions, terminations, and statutory benefits within the Rippling platform.
• Responding to client and employee inquiries, developing support resources (help center articles, HR policies, guides), and ensuring accurate, efficient HR service delivery.
• Training and coaching internal HR Advisors on country-specific Dutch requirements to ensure continuity and compliance across the team.
• Designing scalable, efficient processes that enhance the professionalization and delivery of HR services.
• Ensuring product data and internal HR policies comply with Dutch employment laws, maintaining governance frameworks, and supporting audits and risk mitigation.
• Serving as the designated Power of Attorney (POA) for the legal entity/entities supported, including signing employee documentation and ensuring compliance with local employment regulations.
This role offers the opportunity to deliver world-class HR advisory support while contributing to Rippling's mission to redefine global employment infrastructure.
Requirements:
• 5+ years of experience in Netherlands HR advisory or consulting services, or in an internal HR role within a fast-paced organization. Experience in other EU countries is a plus.
• Expertise in managing employee claims related to unemployment benefits, disability/leave benefits, workers' compensation, and grievances.
• Demonstrated proficiency as a super-user of HRIS platforms.
• Capability to answer questions regarding pay statements and payroll basics, including tax withholdings and earnings breakdowns, and ability to conduct simple pay-related calculations.
• Strong project management and organizational skills, with exceptional attention to detail and time management.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a client-focused approach.
• Professional working proficiency in both Dutch and English.
• Experience with benefits and pension administration is a plus.
