Salary: USD 80,000 - 104,000 / annual
Exo Imaging is seeking an Enterprise Support Engineer to design, develop, and maintain integrations and interfaces for Point of Care Ultrasound (POCUS) workflows across large enterprise healthcare customers globally. You will work with healthcare vendors and health systems to develop and implement HL7 and DICOM integrations that connect various systems within hospital environments.
Key responsibilities include conducting requirements-gathering meetings with vendors and clients, developing and testing interfaces based on specifications, maintaining and enhancing existing vendor integrations, and staying current with healthcare regulatory requirements. You'll work on HL7 engine maintenance and enhancement, research technical problems, create comprehensive documentation, and develop IT solutions for diverse connectivity requirements. The role involves coordinating across enterprise departments, evaluating integration requirements, and facilitating communication between key stakeholders.
You will manage multiple parallel projects while adhering to timelines, develop software and workflow documentation, and assist in buy/build decisions. The position may involve SOC-II controls responsibility and requires knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws.
Required qualifications include a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, plus 3-5 years of relevant experience. You must have hands-on experience with object-oriented programming, DLLs, APIs, and healthcare integrations. Strong expertise in HL7 interface standards and message structure is essential. Additional desired skills include FHIR experience, file parsing (HL7, JSON, XML), SQL Server, excellent analytical and communication abilities, and the capacity to develop creative solutions to complex problems while managing multiple simultaneous tasks.
