Tanium is seeking an Enterprise Services Engineer to serve as a hands-on technical expert for enterprise customers. You will work in a collaborative environment with Technical Support Engineers, Customer Success Managers, and Sales Account Managers to operationalize, administer, and maintain the Tanium platform for large organizations.
Key responsibilities include:
- Operationalize, administer, and maintain the Tanium Platform to solve complex technical issues independently or collaboratively
- Identify opportunities for customers to extract greater value from the Tanium platform
- Conduct daily health checks on assigned accounts and collaborate with Technical Support Engineers on strategic customer activities
- Contribute to activity tracking, after-action reports, root cause analysis, and daily status documentation
- Document best practices and playbook entries for organizational knowledge sharing
- Work closely with Customer Success Managers to improve Tanium operational status within key accounts
- Provide technical direction and guidance to customer IT support staff
- Communicate customer needs clearly through verbal and written communication
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
- 5+ years of IT/Consulting experience
- 5+ years of Systems Administration/Engineering experience
- Experience working with public sector customers
- Fluency in German and English
- Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills
- Broad technical knowledge with deep expertise in one or more areas: Endpoint Security, Endpoint Support/Troubleshooting, Incident Response, Systems Management, Systems Administration, Software Engineering, or Utility Scripting (Bash, PowerShell, VBScript, Python)
- Ability to break problems into manageable components and communicate solutions effectively
- Hands-on Tanium experience is a major plus
- Security clearance: minimum Secret level required; Top Secret or DV preferred
