Halter is a venture-backed agtech company transforming sustainable grazing practices through virtual fencing technology. You will lead Halter's Enterprise Sales organization in NSW, spearheading growth into the corporate market segment across both Beef and Dairy sectors. This is a high-stakes, high-impact role reporting to senior leadership and working closely with the executive team.
Key responsibilities include:
**Hiring & Team Building:** Scale the NSW Enterprise sales organization with the right structure, talent density, and coaching infrastructure to support hypergrowth.
**Field Leadership & Training:** Spend 2-3 days per week in the field modeling best practices, supporting managers, and staying close to customer needs. Develop and implement training programs adapted to Halter's sales process, fostering continuous skill enhancement and knowledge sharing across the team.
**Sales Execution:** Drive consistent execution through hands-on training, ride-alongs, deal reviews, and continuous improvement rhythms. Lead complex negotiations with large, multi-dimensional farming businesses, communicating functionality and value propositions tailored to enterprise needs.
**Strategic Sales Leadership:** Run deep weekly reviews on pipeline health, forecast variance, territory performance, and productivity metrics. Develop and execute a comprehensive Enterprise Accounts strategy aligned with Halter's expansion goals. Use field insights to shape sales strategy, territory design, and coaching priorities.
**Cross-Functional Collaboration:** Translate customer insights into clear product, engineering, onboarding, and go-to-market requirements. Work closely with product, customer support, and marketing teams to ensure exceptional results for enterprise accounts. Build strong partnerships across Halter's global organization.
**Networking & Brand Building:** Build and leverage industry relationships to establish and maintain Halter's brand among Australia's most influential farming leaders.
**Forecasting & Growth:** Work with leadership on monthly and quarterly revenue forecasting. Optimize and evolve the sales process to become faster, more efficient, and more predictable as the company scales.
