The Enterprise Risk Manager will lead oversight, governance, and strategic execution of the Enterprise Risk Management framework. This is a hands-on role with significant autonomy and wide exposure across the business, offering the opportunity to shape risk capability as the organization scales.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading and providing expert advice on complex enterprise and operational risk matters across the business
- Partnering with senior stakeholders to identify, evaluate, and manage key risks and controls
- Building collaborative relationships to drive strategic risk initiatives and foster risk culture
- Owning core elements of the Enterprise Risk Management framework, including KRIs, RCSAs, Operational Risk Event Management, and risk committee management
- Driving continuous improvement and scalability of GRC software and framework processes
- Overseeing and presenting high-quality risk reporting to Executive committees and the Board
- Providing guidance, coaching, and direction to Risk Analysts and Senior Analysts
- Tracking and challenging risk actions to ensure timely resolution

Requirements:
- Proven, deep experience in Enterprise or Operational Risk Management within financial services, risk consultancies, or Big 4 environments
- 5+ years of relevant work experience in Enterprise or Operational Risk Management with demonstrated progression into managerial or senior advisory responsibilities
- Experience in SME lending, fintech, or fast-paced digital lending environments is highly desirable
- Strong strategic acumen, problem-solving, and analytical skills with ability to translate complex risk concepts into business impacts
- Exceptional stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills capable of influencing and challenging senior management
- Hands-on expertise with Enterprise/Operational Risk Management tools (GRC software) and high proficiency in MS Office and Google Suite
- Demonstrated ability to lead initiatives, own outcomes, and mentor or manage team members effectively
- Curiosity, good judgment, and enthusiasm about AI's potential to support the role
