Veeam Software is seeking an Enterprise Architect to design, document, and guide the implementation of technical solutions for enterprise customers post-sale. This role bridges pre-sales and delivery, translating business requirements into scalable, secure architectures aligned with Veeam best practices. Key responsibilities include leading technical discovery sessions to assess customer environments, developing high-level and detailed solution architectures tailored to specific needs, and producing comprehensive technical documentation including low-level design specs and implementation plans. You will create and maintain reference architectures to standardize deployments across customers and partners, ensuring designs meet security, compliance, and scalability standards. You'll provide hands-on technical leadership during implementation of Veeam solutions (on-premises, cloud, and Kasten deployments), offer technical oversight during deployment phases, and support proof-of-concepts and architecture validation activities. You will guide partner-driven implementations to ensure adherence to best practices and assist with troubleshooting complex technical challenges. Collaboration is central to this role. You'll partner with Pre-Sales, Sales, and Customer Success teams to ensure smooth handoffs from design to delivery, engage with customers and partners to drive solution adoption, and serve as a trusted technical advisor translating business goals into effective strategies. You'll also contribute to continuous improvement by evaluating emerging technologies in containers, security, and hybrid cloud to enhance architectures, and developing internal best practices and delivery frameworks to improve efficiency and partner enablement. Required expertise includes extensive IT experience in solution architecture or technical leadership, deep knowledge of data protection, backup & recovery, disaster recovery, and cybersecurity, hands-on experience with containers (Docker, Kubernetes) and container security, strong virtualization knowledge (VMware, Hyper-V), cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), and enterprise storage. You should have proven experience leading transformation initiatives for large enterprises, solid understanding of networking, security, and compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST), and excellent analytical and communication skills. Post-sales consulting or professional services experience is expected, with willingness to travel for global enterprise deployments.
