As Enterprise Architect, you will shape the alignment between enterprise product strategy and architecture strategy to drive business value. You will identify where AI creates measurable leverage and strike the right balance between long-term elegance, enterprise scalability, and short-term pragmatism.
Key responsibilities include:
- Provide authoritative architectural and technical guidance to senior stakeholders and the broader Tech area; define and enforce enterprise-wide engineering standards, best practices, and architectural guardrails.
- Lead the design of complex, multi-domain systems; actively participate in high-stakes architectural discussions using prototypes and proofs-of-concept to validate enterprise-level solutions.
- Drive the department's overarching technical roadmap; evaluate the current tech portfolio, manage technical debt at organizational level, and guide build vs. buy decisions.
- Act as a multiplier for technical talent; help senior engineers and technical leads grow in their craft, fostering cross-team collaboration and architectural excellence.
- Shape the enterprise's AI adoption strategy, identifying where AI creates measurable leverage.
You will work within a tech stack including AWS, Docker, Microservices, Golang, Java, Python, React.js, MySQL, Postgres, Redis, Concourse, GitHub, and Prometheus, with deep expertise in AI infrastructure.

REQUIREMENTS:
- Deep, progressive work experience moving from senior software developer to high-impact architectural role (Enterprise, Principal, or Chief Architect) in a dynamic, scaled environment.
- Expert understanding of modern enterprise technology landscapes and the stated tech stack (AWS, Docker, Microservices, Golang, Java, Python, React.js, MySQL, Postgres, Redis, Concourse, GitHub, Prometheus, AI infrastructure).
- Profound, enterprise-scale experience with AWS services; understand multi-account organizational structures, global network architectures, complex application layers, cloud governance, and security tools.
- Comprehensive experience spanning Backend/APIs, Frontend/JS, System Design, and DevOps; understand how these domains interact at enterprise scale.
- Fluent written and verbal English communication.
- Deep understanding of agile and lean processes at enterprise scale; embrace end-to-end ownership and data-driven decision-making.
- Clear-eyed, pragmatic view of AI capabilities; ability to cut through hype and identify where AI genuinely accelerates outcomes.
- Strong ability to decode complex technical matters for non-technical executive audiences and dive deep with engineers.
