Clearly AI is a continuous threat modeling platform trusted by Fortune 500s and global brands (Rivian, Ericsson, HID Global, PayPal, and others) to help security, privacy, and GRC teams cover more ground with accurate, source-cited assessments. Backed by Y Combinator and top-tier VCs, the company is early-stage, deeply technical, and building alongside real practitioners. As an Enterprise Account Strategist, you will drive predictable pipeline generation for enterprise security buyers (CISOs, AppSec leaders, risk teams) through a combination of outbound prospecting, account-based marketing (ABM), inbound lead management, and event engagement. Your primary focus is generating Sales Qualified Leads (SQLs) and handing them off to Account Executives with complete context. Key responsibilities: 1. Outbound Prospecting & ABM: Design and execute outbound campaigns targeting Fortune 500 and large enterprise accounts (5,000+ employees). Partner with Account Executives to build account plans, map buying committees, and craft tailored multi-threaded messaging across email, phone, LinkedIn, and events. 2. Inbound Lead Management: Own follow-up on inbound MQLs from the website, content, and campaigns. Qualify quickly, nurture where timing isn't right, and advance ready leads to SQL status. 3. Events & Conferences: Set pre-event meetings for key industry conferences (RSAC, Black Hat, IAPP, regional security events). Work booths, manage conversations, and own post-event follow-up to convert badge scans and dinners into first conversations. 4. Qualification & Sales Handoff: Confirm interest, pain, and timing. Schedule discovery calls and demos with Account Executives and founders. Hand off SQLs with complete context so sales can move quickly without re-asking questions. 5. Influential Network Engagement: Strategize and drive regular communication with advisors, investors, partners, customers, and other relationships to support account entry and nurture. 6. Market Insights & Data Hygiene: Share prospect feedback with Marketing, Product, and Sales to refine messaging. Track which channels, messages, and personas convert best. Maintain accurate data in Attio and use tools like Clay and Amplemarket to enrich data and scale research. This is not a high-volume SDR role, not a closing role, and not a marketing campaign manager position. Success is measured on net new SQLs sourced against quarterly targets, MQL-to-SQL conversion, engagement across target accounts, pipeline from events, handoff quality, data accuracy, and market insights that improve GTM. The role offers a direct path to an Enterprise Account Executive or management position as the company scales. You'll work with a lean founding team, see direct impact on pipeline and customer acquisition, and operate at the intersection of AI and enterprise security. REQUIREMENTS: Required: - 3–5 years in business development, account development, or sales roles within enterprise software - Experience selling into security buyers (CISOs, Security and Product Security Engineers, AppSec and/or risk teams) - Comfort with technical security concepts and ability to hold credible conversations with security practitioners - Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales or account management goals - Experience engaging senior stakeholders and navigating complex enterprise organizations - Proficiency with CRM and sales engagement tools; experience with LinkedIn Sales Navigator or similar - Highly organized, self-motivated, and disciplined about follow-up and data quality - Self-driven learner with technical aptitude and curiosity toward AI-first tooling and workflows Strongly Preferred: - Familiarity with threat modeling, privacy impact assessments, vendor risk management, or AppSec review workflows - Experience running enterprise ABM plays alongside Account Executives - Experience generating pipeline from conferences and field events - Hands-on experience with Clay, Amplemarket, Attio, and/or similar modern GTM tooling - Experience working in early-stage startups - Interest in growing into an Enterprise Account Executive or EAS management role
