Salary: USD 93,500 - 182,850 / annual
Commvault is seeking an Enterprise Account Executive for the Northern California region to drive quota achievement by selling complex data protection and cyber resilience solutions into a defined set of enterprise accounts. This is a field sales role combining direct customer engagement with strategic account management.
You will own a territory of large, complex prospects and existing customers, developing multi-quarter strategic account plans for expansion and new acquisition. You'll lead cross-functional sales campaigns, coordinate executive involvement, and manage a matrixed sales team including inside sales, sales engineers, professional services, and partner channels. Your responsibilities include identifying and building strategic partner relationships, constructing business cases with financial (ROI/TCO) and strategic value propositions for C-suite stakeholders, negotiating and closing six- and seven-figure deals, and maintaining deep industry knowledge.
Key activities include developing account penetration strategies, preparing and delivering sales proposals, coordinating executive briefings, leveraging internal sales tools and processes, and ensuring orders meet legal and financial requirements. You'll work closely with Deal Desk, finance, legal, and support teams to drive prospects through the sales cycle.

REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree and proven sales experience
- Demonstrable success in enterprise software sales, specifically selling six- and seven-figure deals
- Experience managing an integrated selling team
- Minimum two years of success identifying, building relationships, and selling directly or with partners
- Deep understanding of storage management or data management industry, products, competitors, trends, and marketplace
- Background in IT infrastructure
- Excellent communication, persuasion, and listening skills
- SaaS experience preferred
