Within is a Series B AI company ($91M raised, 7x growth YoY) building AI agents that discover how work actually happens across organizations, structure it into a living Context Graph, and continuously improve it. Customers include OpenAI, Google, DoorDash, and Stripe.
You will own and close high-value enterprise deals across all verticals (Software, Financial Services, Retail, Industrial, etc.). This is a full-cycle closing role where you build pipeline from scratch, run executive-level sales cycles, and convert Fortune-2000 institutions into Within customers. You own the entire sales motion from first outreach through signed contract, partnering with Solutions Consultants, Marketing, and Customer Success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and own a territory of accounts from the ground up through outbound prospecting, executive networking, industry events, and strategic partnerships
- Run full-cycle enterprise sales processes targeting VP, SVP, EVP, and C-Suite decision-makers from discovery through close
- Develop deep domain expertise in AI workflows to position Within's platform as transformative
- Craft compelling executive-level business cases, ROI analyses, and proposals tailored to specific pain points
- Navigate complex, multi-stakeholder buying cycles across business leadership, IT, procurement, legal, and compliance
- Partner with Solutions Consultants to orchestrate proof-of-value engagements using prospect data
- Maintain disciplined pipeline management and accurate forecasting using MEDDPICC or equivalent frameworks
- Travel to meet customers and prospects in person; face time is essential to success

Within values builders, not just titles. The company rewards agency, moves fast, and cares deeply about customers, team, and mission. This role requires someone who is customer-obsessed with an entrepreneurial spirit, strong opinions, and bias for action.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 7+ years of enterprise SaaS sales experience with consistent track record of exceeding quota
- At least 3 years selling into Financial Services, banking, insurance, asset management, or Private Equity firms
- Proven history of building territory from scratch (zero-to-one work, not inherited book of business)
- Skilled at selling to senior executives (VP, SVP, EVP, C-Suite) and articulating business value in language of financial outcomes
- Strong financial acumen; understand how financial institutions and PE firms operate and evaluate technology investments
- Experience managing complex six- and seven-figure enterprise deal cycles with multiple stakeholders, long timelines, and rigorous procurement
- Commitment and resilience with prior employers; not looking for candidates who jump every 18-24 months
- AI-native (not AI-adjacent); intuitively understand and use AI in daily work to sharpen craft
- High coachability with no ego; growth-mindset willing to adapt
- Customer-obsessed with entrepreneurial spirit, strong opinions, bias for action
STRONG CANDIDATES MAY ALSO HAVE:
- Direct experience selling AI or digital transformation technology into Financial Services or PE accounts
- Rolodex of executive-level relationships across major financial institutions, PE firms, or portfolio companies
- Experience partnering with or selling alongside Big-4 and management consulting firms
- Track record selling into complex regulatory environments; understand compliance, security, data governance requirements
- Experience building sales playbooks, account plans, and go-to-market strategies for new verticals from scratch
- Ability to balance strategic, long-cycle deal management with hustle and urgency of early-stage sales organization
Location: San Francisco HQ with heavy travel expected for prospect and customer meetings, industry events, and critical deal moments.
