HeyGen is hiring Enterprise Account Executives to drive large-deal sales of its AI video creation platform into Fortune 500 and mid-market organizations. This is a full-cycle closing role with heavy emphasis on self-sourced pipeline—you will identify and open strategic accounts, build relationships across business, technical, and executive stakeholders, lead discovery, run tailored demos and pilots, navigate security/legal/procurement, and close large new business deals.
You will sell both the HeyGen web app and HeyGen API, helping customers understand how AI video can transform marketing, sales enablement, customer education, training, localization, product onboarding, and developer-powered video workflows at global scale.
Key responsibilities include:
- Building your own pipeline through targeted outbound into enterprise accounts (account planning, executive outreach, cold email, phone, LinkedIn, personalized video, trigger-based outreach, events, creative campaigns).
- Owning the full enterprise sales cycle from first touch to close, including prospecting, qualification, discovery, tailored demos, pilots with clear success criteria, business-case development, security and legal review, procurement, contract negotiation, and handoff to Customer Success.
- Navigating complex buying groups with multiple stakeholders (champion, economic buyer, executive sponsors, technical owners, IT/security, legal, procurement), multi-threading early and keeping all parties aligned.
- Selling business outcomes, not just AI features—helping customers understand how HeyGen reduces video production costs, speeds up content creation, localizes consistently, personalizes communication, and unlocks new workflows. Building ROI-driven business cases that finance teams can support.
- Selling across both web app and API use cases. You don't need to be an engineer but should be technically curious and comfortable explaining technical concepts in business language.
- Creating urgency in long sales cycles by identifying compelling events, driving momentum without hard deadlines, asking direct questions, tying pain to business impact, and driving clear next steps.
- Partnering with PLG, growth, product, and customer teams to identify enterprise opportunities and expand accounts post-close.
- Maintaining strong pipeline discipline with clean CRM data, accurate forecasting, clear next steps, and distinction between real and hopeful pipeline.
Requirements:
- 8+ years of B2B SaaS sales experience, including at least 5 years in a closing role selling to enterprise companies.
- Track record of meeting or exceeding quota on enterprise deals, including six-figure contracts.
- Proven experience opening new enterprise logos through your own outbound, not only managing inherited books of business.
- Demonstrated ability to run complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles including executive sponsorship, security and legal review, procurement, and contract negotiation.
- Strong discovery skills and ability to connect product capabilities to business pain and measurable ROI.
- Comfort selling to executives and senior leaders across marketing, sales, L&D, product, IT, operations, and technical teams.
- High-agency, builder mindset—you test, learn, and iterate rather than waiting for perfect playbooks.
- Strong written communication skills (outbound emails, executive summaries, proposals, deal recaps).
- Curiosity about AI, video, creative workflows, and API-driven products.
Nice-to-haves include experience selling PLG, usage-based, API, developer platform, creative software, marketing tech, sales tech, or AI products; experience with API/platform deals embedded in customer products; experience selling into marketing, localization, customer education, L&D, sales enablement, ecommerce, media, or product teams; experience in regulated industries (healthcare, financial services); early-stage or founding enterprise AE experience; or experience in early-stage/high-growth startups.
