Avoca is an AI-powered conversational platform transforming how home service companies engage with customers. The company handles high-value inbound calls—from booking jobs to qualifying leads and driving revenue—at scale and consistency unmatched by human call centers. Series B backed by Kleiner Perkins, Meritech Capital, and General Catalyst with $125M raised and a $1B valuation, Avoca grew 10x in 2025 and now operates 170+ employees across NYC headquarters and Santa Barbara.
As an Enterprise Account Executive, you will own the full sales cycle for Avoca's largest and most strategic home services accounts. You'll work directly with operators and home service business leaders to understand their call flows, conversion challenges, and growth goals, then help them adopt Avoca as a mission-critical revenue engine. This is a hunter role: you build your own pipeline, thrive in founder-led sales environments, sell a technical product into large multi-stakeholder organizations, and help define Avoca's enterprise go-to-market strategy as the company scales upmarket. You report to the VP Sales.
Key responsibilities include: owning the end-to-end sales cycle from prospecting to close for enterprise home services customers; proactively building and managing your own pipeline rather than relying on inbound; running discovery calls to understand customer operations, call workflows, and revenue pain points; delivering tailored demos and solution pitches that map Avoca's AI to enterprise outcomes and ROI; managing pipeline, forecasts, and deal progression with high accuracy across long, multi-stakeholder cycles; navigating complex buying committees to drive consensus across founders, operators, procurement, and finance; partnering with Product, Engineering, and Customer Success to structure and close high-ACV deals; providing field feedback to shape product roadmap and positioning; and hitting aggressive monthly and quarterly revenue targets.
You'll work in-office at the NYC headquarters with a high-ownership team, with daily lunch provided and dinner covered when working late. The role offers comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance; company-sponsored 401(k); flexible PTO plus federal holidays; company-wide off-sites; commuter benefits; late-night rideshare; monthly wellness stipend; and standing desks with workspace accommodations available.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 7–10 years of closing experience in B2B SaaS (AI, vertical SaaS, or operational software preferred), with a track record of winning enterprise or high-ACV deals
- Demonstrated hunter mentality: you generate and win deals rather than manage inbound
- Proven ability to run complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles and close high-ACV deals from first touch to signature
- Strong discovery skills; ability to ask great questions and listen closely
- Comfort selling to operators and executives at the enterprise level
- Experience carrying an enterprise or strategic accounts quota and winning outsized deals
- Clear, confident communicator who can explain technical concepts simply to varied stakeholders
- Highly organized, proactive, and comfortable in fast-moving environments
PLUS (preferred):
- Experience working in early-stage startups
- Experience selling to home services or operations-heavy businesses
