Salary: USD 160,000 - 200,000 / annual

As Engineering Tech Lead, you'll be the technical backbone of your engineering team, driving system design, architecture, and technical execution without formal people management responsibilities. This role is ideal for a senior individual contributor who leads through influence, hands-on craftsmanship, and mentorship rather than management.
You'll drive system design and architecture for your team's projects, write production code, and set the technical bar through hands-on contribution. You'll mentor engineers through code review and pairing, partner with Product to translate roadmap priorities into sound technical plans, and identify and resolve technical risk and cross-team dependencies before they become blockers. You'll also establish and evolve engineering best practices, standards, and tooling across the team.
You bring 6+ years of software engineering experience with a track record of leading technical direction on teams. You have deep hands-on experience with Python, React, and TypeScript, including shipping production code in fast-moving environments. You're skilled at making sound architecture and system design decisions, mentoring engineers, and raising technical bars through example. You communicate effectively with both engineers and non-technical stakeholders about technical tradeoffs.
Nice-to-have experience includes healthcare, supply chain, or regulated domain expertise, and experience scaling systems or engineering practices in early-stage startups. The tech stack includes Python, React, TypeScript, AWS, SQL, and data pipeline/ETL workflows.
