Skydropx is innovating logistics across Latin America, and we're seeking an Engineering Manager to lead high-performing teams building scalable backend systems in Ruby on Rails and .NET.
You will own the technical delivery and stability of your teams' roadmap, ensuring committed features ship on time with closed scope and estimated effort. You'll develop and review code on high-risk, high-complexity changes—critical features, migrations, regional expansions, and hotfixes—while providing architectural direction and maintaining code quality standards across services.
Key responsibilities include: ensuring production stability through triage, attribution, and remediation of errors and security findings; maintaining release flow across sandbox, staging, and production environments; developing your team members by delegating to Tech Leads and providing written and 1:1 performance feedback; participating in technical hiring and candidate review; and serving as the interface between engineering, product, QA, DevOps, and support.
You'll need 6+ years of experience with Ruby on Rails and .NET, strong knowledge of Domain Driven Design, Clean Architecture, and event-driven development. Experience with GCP, Kafka, Pub/Sub, Docker, and Kubernetes is valued. Advanced conversational Spanish is required. You must demonstrate critical thinking, logical reasoning, self-management, and strong teamwork. You'll work 100% remotely from Brazil with a competitive, negotiable salary based on experience and interview performance.
