CesiumAstro is seeking an Engineering Manager for RF Hardware to lead and coordinate RF electronics teams across multiple sites and product lines. This is a highly technical leadership role responsible for delivering well-engineered RF hardware on schedule across a diverse portfolio including phased arrays, RF front-end modules, up- and down-converters, and software-defined radios. The role combines people and process leadership with hands-on technical contribution. You will provide technical ownership for board- and box-level RF designs while leading team execution, staffing, and engineering process maturity in a fast-growing aerospace and defense startup. The position requires contributing technical expertise to critical designs, architecture reviews, and complex debug activities, ensuring products are scalable, manufacturable, testable, and robust at production volumes. This front-line engineering management role is ideal for excellent engineers who want to grow their impact by building and leading teams. You will be responsible for design consistency and high-quality execution across multiple product lines while maintaining hands-on involvement in critical technical work. The successful candidate may be a senior or principal engineer motivated to take the next step in their career, or an engineer with some management experience. Strong interpersonal skills, passion for hardware design, and the ability to scale impact through team leadership are essential. CesiumAstro develops communication systems for satellites, UAVs, launch vehicles, and other space and airborne platforms in a dynamic, cross-functional work environment.
