GetYourGuide is a global marketplace connecting millions of travelers with authentic, curated travel experiences. The Reviews team is responsible for building the trust infrastructure that powers customer decision-making and supplier success through reliable, relevant review content.
As Engineering Manager for the Reviews team, you will lead a team of 6–7 engineers (mix of senior and junior, backend and frontend) in a highly collaborative environment. Your core responsibilities include:
**People & Leadership:**
- Hire and develop engineering talent, setting high performance standards
- Coach engineers at all levels without micromanaging, fostering growth and autonomy
- Manage performance and enable your team to excel
**Technical & Product:**
- Partner closely with your Product Manager to shape and deliver the roadmap
- Lead architecture and design discussions, driving high-quality technical decisions across full-stack systems
- Bring a full-stack mindset and engage meaningfully across backend and frontend
- Solve complex technical challenges pragmatically in a customer-facing, multi-service environment
- Champion an experimentation mindset, leveraging data and customer insights to validate ideas and iterate quickly
- Apply AI technologies within product development

The role is hybrid (3 days in-office: Mon, Tue, Thu; 2 days optional remote focus time) based in Berlin, with flexibility to work remotely anywhere in the world for 30 days per year.
