Fictiv, a division of MISUMI Group, is a leading provider of standard, configurable, and custom manufacturing solutions. We're seeking a hands-on Engineering Manager to lead our NetSuite team based in our Pune office.
This is a hybrid technical leadership and people-management role. You'll lead a team supporting a complex, multi-subsidiary OneWorld NetSuite deployment spanning multiple regions globally, serving a make-to-order custom manufacturing operation. You'll set the technical bar, drive architectural decisions, and build processes that enable the team to deliver at high quality and velocity.
Key responsibilities include:
- Actively participate in technical work alongside the team—reviewing and debugging code, validating approaches, and unblocking engineers on critical deliveries
- Author and own technical design documents for significant platform changes, new integrations, and architectural decisions
- Lead architecture reviews for new features, customizations, and integrations, ensuring scalability and alignment with NetSuite best practices
- Conduct thorough code reviews and hold the team to consistent engineering standards
- Set standards for development and customization work, including SuiteScript patterns, SuiteFlow design, custom record architecture, and integration approaches
- Mentor and coach engineers on technical problem-solving and career growth
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
- Drive continuous improvement in development processes, tooling, and team practices
You'll report to the Sr Director of Engineering, IT Systems. This role thrives at the intersection of engineering leadership and technical craft—someone who can jump into code to debug complex issues, write detailed technical design documents, and coach engineers on different approaches.
