Salary: USD 233,000 - 274,000 / annual

The Truework Team seeks an Engineering Manager to lead the Mortgage Verifications Team, responsible for building and launching new products, customer-facing experiences, and enhancing the Truework platform. You will partner closely with product managers and key stakeholders to create software and experiences that delight customers. The projects are high-impact and scale—advancing architecture and systems to lead Truework into the next generation of product offerings. Your decisions will impact millions of consumers annually and help businesses make fast, informed, and safe decisions. Key responsibilities include: - Drive technical vision that motivates and inspires the team - Partner with product management to build new features and enhance existing ones - Reduce technical debt and sustainably scale architecture - Build customer relationships and drive results - Nurture and grow team members based on career aspirations - Hire top talent and raise the bar for the team - Represent the team in planning and product meetings - Optimize engineering processes and policies for velocity and quality Required qualifications: - 4+ years as an engineering manager - 8+ years as an engineer - Strong critical thinking, decision-making, problem-solving, and attention to detail - Experience managing quality incidents as both technical and communication lead - Experience with products at scale in highly regulated environments - Strong TDD, pair programming, and agile methodology experience - Deep understanding of service architecture, system design, and lean software development - Ability to make high-level prioritization decisions quickly - Experience building inclusive, diverse teams - Humility, openness to feedback, and eagerness to learn - Machine learning and AI experience is a plus - A-player mindset with bias for action, urgency, resilience, and ownership
