BitGo is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead the Ecosystem team, responsible for growing BitGo's blockchain infrastructure by driving support and integrations for new blockchains to serve institutional clients. This is a hands-on management role requiring both people leadership and technical depth.
Key responsibilities include:
- Accountability for ecosystem growth through blockchain integrations and support
- Collaboration with Product, Trust, Compliance, and other stakeholders on technical vision and execution
- Coaching and development of direct reports and broader engineering teams
- Ownership of quality, delivery, and end-to-end availability of critical services
- Driving engineering best practices in design and usability
- Facilitating documentation and knowledge sharing across teams
- Roadmap planning, estimation, and prioritization with product and management
- Identifying opportunities and risks in coordination with company leadership
- Fostering an engineering culture centered on open communication, collaboration, accountability, craftsmanship, and client-first values
- Cross-timezone coordination with US and global teams (PST/EST calls required)
Required qualifications:
- 10+ years professional software engineering experience; 3+ years in a managerial role
- Experience in crypto (professional or personal) or demonstrated interest
- Proven track record sourcing and hiring top engineering talent, including managers
- Success leading engineering-wide initiatives
- Strong collaboration with product teams on roadmap development
- Excellent stakeholder management, particularly with business stakeholders
- Computer Science degree or equivalent
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
The role is based in Bangalore and requires onsite presence Monday to Friday. BitGo is the leading digital asset infrastructure provider, serving thousands of institutions and millions of retail investors globally, handling a significant portion of Bitcoin network transactions.
