Ripple is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead a greenfield initiative integrating digital assets into the Ripple Treasury platform. This is a pioneering role with no existing market solution or playbook.
You will head the engineering effort to bridge corporate treasury teams' needs by combining Ripple's digital asset capabilities (XRP, RLUSD, tokenized assets, custody, cross-border settlement) with enterprise treasury platform features. You'll join forces with a seasoned infrastructure engineer and product lead, building and managing a team of up to four full-stack .NET developers.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing the engineering process for digital asset integration, designing systems that connect Ripple's digital asset functions with Treasury's enterprise platform
- Building and managing a team of up to four full-stack .NET developers, including recruitment, mentoring, and development while staying actively involved in coding
- Shipping working software daily in a fast-paced Kanban workflow with rapid iteration based on feedback
- Working closely with Ripple's core digital assets team to understand protocol capabilities and roadmap alignment
- Designing full-stack solutions spanning .NET backend services and Angular/React frontends with enterprise-grade reliability, security, and auditability
- Navigating ambiguity with confidence, making sound engineering decisions with incomplete information and course-correcting quickly
- Partnering with product, compliance, and treasury domain experts to translate requirements into features for Fortune 500 CFOs and treasurers
- Defining engineering practices for the team including coding standards, review processes, testing strategies, and deployment patterns
The role offers significant autonomy in establishing new approaches and determining how digital assets fit into corporate treasury workflows, helping establish a new category of enterprise software.
Requirements:
- 7+ years of software engineering experience with strong full-stack background in .NET and modern frontend frameworks (Angular, React, or equivalent)
- 2+ years of experience leading engineering teams, including recruitment, mentoring, and development
- Demonstrated ability to ship software in fast-paced, ambiguous environments with unclear or rapidly changing requirements
- Production background in fintech, digital assets, or blockchain, having delivered systems managing actual financial transactions or digital asset activities
- Comfort with pioneering work; thrives when the playbook hasn't been written and finds energy in defining new approaches
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional partners including product managers, compliance teams, and external engineering teams
- Hands-on leadership orientation with willingness and ability to write production code alongside the team, especially in early stages
Nice to have:
- Deep familiarity with blockchain protocols, digital asset custody, tokenization, or cross-border settlement systems
- Experience with XRP Ledger, RLUSD, or Ripple's product ecosystem
- Background in corporate treasury, treasury management systems, or enterprise financial software
- Experience integrating traditional financial infrastructure with digital asset platforms
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements for digital asset products in financial services
