Salary: USD 212,000 - 265,000 / annual
Ripple is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead a greenfield initiative integrating digital assets into the Ripple Treasury platform. This is a pioneering role with no existing playbook—you will establish how digital assets (XRP, RLUSD, tokenized assets, custody, cross-border settlement) fit into corporate treasury workflows and help create a new category of enterprise software.
You will manage a team of up to four full-stack .NET developers, handling recruitment, mentoring, and ongoing development while remaining actively involved in coding. The team operates in a fast-paced Kanban workflow, shipping working software daily and iterating based on feedback from product, compliance, and treasury domain experts.
Key responsibilities include:
- Building and managing the engineering team, recruiting and developing full-stack .NET developers
- Designing full-stack solutions spanning .NET backend services and Angular or React frontends, ensuring enterprise-grade reliability, security, and auditability
- Integrating Ripple's digital asset functions with Ripple Treasury's enterprise platform
- Shipping working software daily in a fast-paced environment with changing requirements
- Collaborating closely with Ripple's core digital assets team to understand protocol capabilities and roadmap alignment
- Navigating ambiguity with confidence, making sound engineering decisions with incomplete information
- Partnering with product, compliance, and treasury experts to translate requirements into shippable features for Fortune 500 CFOs and treasurers
- Defining engineering practices for the team, including coding standards, review processes, testing strategies, and deployment patterns

Requirements:
- 7+ years of software engineering experience with strong full-stack background in .NET and modern frontend frameworks (Angular, React, or equivalent)
- 2+ years of experience leading engineering teams, including recruitment, mentoring, and development of engineering groups
- Demonstrated ability to ship software in fast-paced, ambiguous environments with unclear or rapidly changing requirements
- Production background in fintech, digital assets, or blockchain, with experience delivering systems managing actual financial transactions or digital asset activities
- Comfort with pioneering work; thrives when the playbook hasn't been written and finds energy in defining new approaches
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional partners including product managers, compliance teams, and external engineering teams
- Hands-on leadership orientation with willingness and ability to write production code alongside the team, especially in early stages
Nice to have:
- Deep familiarity with blockchain protocols, digital asset custody, tokenization, or cross-border settlement systems
- Experience with XRP Ledger, RLUSD, or Ripple's product ecosystem
- Background in corporate treasury, treasury management systems, or enterprise financial software
- Experience integrating traditional financial infrastructure with digital asset platforms
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements for digital asset products in financial services
