Ripple is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead a greenfield initiative integrating digital assets into the Ripple Treasury platform. This is a pioneering role with no existing market solution—you'll head engineering efforts to combine Ripple's digital asset capabilities (XRP, RLUSD, tokenized assets, custody, cross-border settlement) with enterprise treasury workflows.
You will manage a team of up to four full-stack .NET developers, handling recruitment, mentoring, and ongoing development while remaining actively involved in coding. The role demands hands-on leadership: you'll design full-stack solutions spanning .NET backend services and Angular/React frontends, establish engineering practices (coding standards, review processes, testing strategies), and ship working software daily in a fast-paced Kanban workflow.
Key responsibilities include partnering with Ripple's core digital assets team to understand protocol capabilities and integration points, collaborating with product, compliance, and treasury domain experts to translate requirements into features for Fortune 500 CFOs and treasurers, and navigating ambiguity with confidence to make sound engineering decisions with incomplete information.
Required qualifications: 7+ years of software engineering experience with strong full-stack .NET and modern frontend framework expertise; 2+ years leading engineering teams (recruitment, mentoring, development); demonstrated ability to ship software in fast-paced, ambiguous environments; production background in fintech, digital assets, or blockchain managing actual financial transactions; comfort with pioneering work where the playbook hasn't been written; strong cross-functional collaboration skills.
Nice-to-have: deep familiarity with blockchain protocols, digital asset custody, tokenization, or cross-border settlement; experience with XRP Ledger or Ripple's ecosystem; corporate treasury or treasury management systems background; experience integrating traditional financial infrastructure with digital asset platforms; knowledge of regulatory requirements for digital asset products in financial services.
