You must demonstrate ability to grow and retain engineering talent, strong knowledge of modern engineering delivery practices (design reviews, testing, delivery pipelines, incident review), and excellent communication skills. Nice-to-have skills include extensive hands-on FPGA/GPU/embedded compute background, experience managing teams in space/aerospace/mission-critical environments, and experience scaling teams through growth phases.
